M/s. D. R. Vaidya & Co is one of the oldest and a reputed architectural firm offering consultancy services in the field of Architecture. Architect D. R. Vaidya established the same in the year 1931. Since, it's inception, during the last 75 years it is nothing but a success story). In this span of more than last 7 decades, the firm has carried out numerous and varied prestigious architectural projects using its vast experience and conducting business with a thoroughly Professional Approach.

Though, architecture was it's main field, the founder of the firm, Architect D. R. Vaidya was more widely recognized and respected figure for his Valuation of Real Estates. He was a known personality in the Bombay High Court and was very well known amongst almost all the leading Solicitor's Firms. In several land Acquisition References he was appointed by the Hon'ble Court as the Sole Arbitrator / Commissioner, to help the Court in ruling out judgments. Architect D. R. Vaidya also has couple of books on Valuation and Revenue matters, written by him to his credit.

During the lifetime of Architect D. R. Vaidya, his son M. D. Vaidya a Civil Engineer joined his father's firm and ran it successfully. He too attended Land Acquisition & Arbitration matters along-with continuation of architectural services. Shri M. D. Vaidya executed numerous Residential & Factory projects as well as Layouts of Residential Lands. His son Architect Jayant M. Vaidya and daughter in law Mrs. Sadhana Jayant Vaidya also followed his footsteps.

Now for more than, the last 3 decades, the firm is being successfully professionaly run and managed, and has grown several folds under the guidance of Architects Jayant Vaidya & his wife Sadhana Vaidya. Since, last few years, the 4th generation of Architect D. R. Vaidya, i.e. his great-grandson Architect Eeshan & great-grand-daughter Architect Anuja have also joined the firm and stepped into their parent's shoes.
